The two photos every job needs
Before and after. Same angle, same spot, thirty seconds apart. It is the most convincing marketing a service business can make, and it costs nothing.
Stock photos do not prove you can clean anything. A before and after does. It is the one piece of marketing where the customer’s eye does the selling and you do not have to say a word.
How to take them
- Before you start, stand where the finished result will look best. Take the shot. Remember your feet.
- Landscape, phone at chest height, no zoom. Daylight if you can, the room’s lights if you cannot.
- When you finish, stand in the same spot and take the after. Same framing.
- Do not edit. A little mess in the before is the point.
Where they go
Your Google profile first, because that is what searchers see. Then the service page for that job type on your site, with the town in the caption. Then Facebook and Instagram, where past customers and their neighbors are. Then the review request to the customer, with the after photo attached as a reminder of how it looked.
Two photos, four places. If you text them to Protocol from the driveway, you are done.
